Printable Spanish Numbers Word Search (Cardinals and Ordinals)
Pick a level and download the PDF (answer key included)
Numbers are a natural first vocabulary set in Spanish. Easy and Medium cover the cardinals from uno to cien; Hard adds the higher tens (sesenta to noventa), cero, millón and the ordinals primero to décimo.
Hard uses ordinals instead of compounds such as dieciséis or diecisiete on purpose: those words contain seis and siete, so a solver could find the same word twice in the grid. Keeping every word free of other list words means each answer has one place in the puzzle.

This is for a learner who already counts to ten in Spanish and wants to see the numbers laid out on a page.
Words run only left-to-right or top-to-bottom, so the challenge stays in spotting a familiar word, not untangling a trick direction.
It is a short, easy win, good for a Spanish class or a calm few minutes with a pencil.

This version continues past ten, up to cuarenta, cincuenta and cien.
Diagonal words appear here for the first time, so scanning takes real attention rather than a straight read.
It sits between a beginner's puzzle and a real challenge, without needing advanced Spanish to solve it.
Vocabulary analysis
Measured directly from this puzzle's own grid — not a generic estimate.
With an average word length of 5.2 letters, this puzzle sits at a moderate 45.8% grid coverage, balancing genuine challenge with enough empty space to keep scanning manageable. 3 of its words share letters with at least one other word on the list, so a single letter in the grid can belong to more than one hidden answer — a real source of extra difficulty beyond word count alone.
Why this level is Medium
- Horizontal, vertical and diagonal words
- No reversed words
- Mixed word lengths, some less common vocabulary
- Moderate overlaps between words

Thirty-five Spanish words, from the shortest entries to the longest.
The shortest word ("uno", 3 letters) helps a solver get started quickly, while the longest ("cincuenta", 9 letters) takes real scanning to place. In total, this puzzle hides 35 words across a 20x20 grid, using 16 of its 20 unique letters at least twice, with words running in all eight directions.

Vocabulary analysis
Measured directly from this puzzle's own grid — not a generic estimate.
With an average word length of 5.2 letters, this puzzle is densely packed at 57.2% grid coverage — less empty space means fewer easy gaps to scan past, so finding each word takes closer attention. 2 of its words share letters with at least one other word on the list, so a single letter in the grid can belong to more than one hidden answer — a real source of extra difficulty beyond word count alone.
Why this is a Large Print edition
- All eight directions, including reversed words — same rule as Hard
- Same word list and word count as our Medium puzzle — full challenge, not a simplified one
- 15×12 grid: fewer rows than a standard 15×15, freeing real vertical space for larger lettering
- 20pt or larger lettering throughout, verified to actually fit the grid, not just requested
- Simplified Puzzle Passport with no fill-in blanks, leaving maximum room for the letters themselves
